Two U14 teams were entered for the 9 aside gala with a mix of Reds, Whites and Blacks squad. One was named Whites and one was named Reds.

The format was one group and top 2 would compete in the final. Fixtures were against Ossett Albion, Hall Green United, Ackworth and each other.

Both teams and all players competed well throughout the tournament on a very warm morning in Wakefield.

The Reds squad were unbeaten but drew all their games which meant they did not progress to the final.

The Whites squad progressed to the final keeping a clean sheet in every game and winning their first game.

However in the final the Whites unfortunately failed to keep the goals out and lost 4 - 1 in a very competitive game. Kian Jones scored our only goal. The players should be proud they reached the final and they played in the right spirit.
