The Reds started slowly today which does happen from time to time and it took Leeds City to take the lead and also nearly add a second for us to wake up. Leeds City did have some good forwards who caused us problems early on and two fortuitous own goals, although Ryan's free-kick and Tom's corner did get the ball into dangerous areas, and opportunist strike from Jai Mistry gave us a 3-1 half time lead.
In the second half we definately stepped up a gear and ran out worthy winners with 2 more goals from Rowan Matthews, thats 5 in the last 3 games the hat-trick isn't far away, Alex Chu's first goal of the season and a late Tom Hilliard strike means that we head into the new year confident that we can continue our excellent start to the season.
Special mention to Man of the Match Alex Chu who really got to grips in midfield today winning the ball in important areas and also using the ball well.
