The first half today was only noticeable due to Amateur's stubborn resistance but Rowan's hat-trick in the first 4 minutes of the 2nd half was definately a game changer. We all know Rowan has gone through a bit of a tough time recently but we also know that he is an intelligent footballer who knows how to find good positions and space and it was only a matter of time before this was going to happen and he returned to the scoresheet.
Also good performances today from Elliott Wainwright who is quickly adapting to the full back roles, Jack Gibson who has quickly settled with the team and kept up his impressive scoring ratio and Alex Chu who kept up his run of good performances in Central Midfield. 5 more goals today to take into what is bound to be a tough test on Thursday evening.
It was one of those days when the Man of the Match pretty much picked itself with the boys all in agreement at the end. Well done Rowan!!
